Purchasing a Puppy
We do not recommend purchasing a puppy or dog from a pet store or backyard breeder. Find a responsible breeder in your area or contact the Eagle Rock Kennel Club line at (208) 745-8568. Ask questions such as , has the breeder done the genetic testing recommended for their breed (hips, eyes, etc.)", .ask for a written contract. Most important - educate yourself. Make sure the breed you are considering is the right dog for you.
